We passengers weren’t looking at a chart, but apparently there is a pinnacle rock right under this wreck. And apparently the captain hit it on purpose in an attempt to scuttle the boat and claim insurance. He was found out and sent to prison. The wreck has stood like this through all weather since 1963.
