Fish farms. I was on the lookout for them on our route since, I saw signs both in the harbor (tenders and supply ships, on land in the form of protest signs – no more Salmoneras, and I’ve read about environmental disasters as a result of converting areas into closed pollluting monocultures. Puerto Montt area has become an epicenter for disaster, had a big crash. I don’t like to bury info like this in a photo caption, because it is worth way more attention, but we’re passing by on a ferry boat here!
